Narrow, elongated, bluntly ovoid, anterior pole truncated, posterior pole subpointed, compressed dorso­ventrally (Figs 837, 838 &amp; 841).

: Egg faintly marked on all surfaces by convex, hexagonal cells with narrow, recessed walls (Figs 841 &amp; 842). Aeropyles very inconspicuous, unelevated, openings extremely small, distributed around rim of egg only. Micropylar cells slightly recessed (Fig. 840). Chorion rough, with shallow undulations, rather granular (Fig. 843).
