Moderately broad, bluntly ovoid, posterior pole sub­acute, wide; polar profile circular; wedge­shaped in profile (Figs 317, 318, 320 &amp; 321); anterior pole truncated slightly angled to horizontal axis (Figs 317, 320 &amp; 321).

: Egg marked on all surfaces by slightly convex hexagonal cells (Figs 317, 320322). Cell walls narrow, recessed (Fig. 319); on lateral side barely distinguishable (Fig. 322); micropylar cell walls narrow, slightly elevated (Fig. 319); primary and secondary cell walls recessed; cells in middle of top of egg slightly concave (Figs 317 &amp; 320). Aeropyles irregularly shaped, unelevated, openings moderately small, inconspicuous (Fig. 322), present on all surfaces apart from middle of top of cell (Fig. 320). Micropyles slightly off­centred. Anterior pole circumscribed by raised rim (Fig. 318). Chorion rough, pitted, wrinkled (Fig. 322).
