Upright, broad, sub­quadrate; anterior pole slightly wider than posterior pole, truncated; polar profile circular; flattened dorso­ventrally (Figs 475 &amp; 479).

: Egg marked on all surfaces by rounded hexagonal cells (Figs 475477, 479 &amp; 480) scarcely discernible on posterior 2/3 of egg (Figs 476 &amp; 479). Cells on anterior 1/3 of egg with elevated walls (Fig. 480); elevated aeropyles at junctions of cell walls, openings moderately large (Fig. 480). Chorion generally smooth, but appearing sparsely granular on posterior 2/3 of egg (Fig. 481), wrinkled on anterior 1/3 (Fig. 480).
