Body medium-large size in the tribe

. Fastigium verticis conical, comparatively short, apex obtuse, furrowed in midline. Eyes globular, obviously protruding anteriorly. Apical segment of maxillary palpi as long as subapical one, apex widened. Pronotum slightly prolonged afterwards, posterior horizontal sulcus distinct, metazona lightly flattened, anterior margin straight, posterior margin rounded; lateral lobe longer than high, humeral sinus indistinct. Thoracic auditory spiracle large. Ventral margins of femora of all legs smooth, without spines. Procoxa with one spine; protibia with 5 spines on internal side, external side with 4 spines and a pair of ventral apical spurs, tibial tympana open on internal and external sides, long-oval. Mesotibia with 4 and 5 spines on inner and outer sides of ventral margin. Posttibia with 2730 spines on internal and external sides of dorsal margin separately, and 2 pairs of ventral spurs and 1 pair of dorsal spurs on apex of posttibia, genicular lobi of postfemur obtusely rounded.

Tenth abdominal tergite large, posterior margin excavate, apices of ventrolateral margins protruding afterwards, membranous area broad. Cerci complex, basal half of dorsal lobe stout, with an angular process on basal inner margin, middle area curved internodorsally, apical half thin, apex slightly enlarged; middle lobe flake-shaped, apical margin curved inwards, with small spine-shaped process on ventral side near apical area; ventral lobe slightly thickened, ventral margin arc-shaped, with finger-like process on ventral margin near middle area. Subgenital plate with base broad, central margin excavate, apical half narrowing, posterior margin excavate. Styli comparatively long on lateral margins of subapex.</paragraph>

Similar to male, slightly larger. Cerci conical, with long hairs, apices acute. Ovipositor with base stout, dorsal and ventral margins of other area slightly parallel, smooth, dorsal valvulae slightly longer than ventral ones, apices acute. Subgenital plate saddle-shaped, basal area narrow, middle area broad, middle carina distinct, apex rounded.

Head with a pair of dark brown stripes on lateral margins after eyes. Pronotum with a pair of black longitudinal stripes on lateral margins of disc, middle area indistinct and color light in the specimens from Hainan (Figure, 9), but black stripes distinct in the specimens from Guangxi (Figure, 10). Tegmina with some light brown spots. Male stridulatory field light brown. Genicular lobi of postfemora with apices black.</paragraph>

The appearance of the specimens from Guangxi and Hainan is very alike, including morphology of male stridulatory file and the number of stridulatory teeth in microscope. But the middle area of black longitudinal stripes on disc of the specimens from Guangxi are distinct.
