Moderately large in size. Head triangular, small. Antennae filiform with 1719 antennomeres, the scape broader than others. Mandibles with two apical teeth. Two ocelli present. Pronotum approximately elliptical with anterior and posterior margins subequal in width. Tarsi shorter than tibiae, hind tarsi five-segmented. Tegmen large and long with longitudinal veins strongly developed, sutural margin straight, costal margin arched. Cerci short. Tarsomeres 14 shortened, horseshoe-like. Vaginulae with long exposed parts, at least longer than the last two abdominal segments combined.
