Body sized normally for the tribe, strongly depressed dorsoventrally, colored greyish brown. Head rather small, with normal size (for the tribe) of eyes, large antennal scape (almost two times as wide as rostrum), and occiput plump; coloration of antennae variegate with white and brown. Pronotum very low, strongly narrowed in front, slightly narrower than head; indistinct carinated along lateral edges of disc. Males tegmina armed with developed stridulatory apparatus provided with almost straight and rather long transverse stridulatory vein, rather numerous arched and regularly spaced oblique veins, and more or less round mirror (

). Metanotal gland large and possessing many setae anteriorly and posteriorly; anterior margin arched and wider than hind portions; horizontal intermediate strongly concave; posterior parts narrower, with a margin almost straight (

). Outer tympanum open (ovoid) and inner one slit-like. Male supra-anal plate somewhat trapezoidal, with anterior parts strongly expanded, lateral edges rounded and tapering; in dorsal view, lateral sides gradually inward inclined and forming as a groove medially; and some short hairs ornamented on hind parts (
