). Frons yellow with a median brown spot in the shape of an inverted triangle, extending from anterior to posterior margin of frons; fronto-orbital setulae sparse, short, thin, and brown. Face yellow; dorsal portion higher than wide, flat dorsally with distal margin sub-triangular in dorsal view. Gena and postgena yellow; postgena with thin, brown setae; gena with short but conspicuous brown setae. Occiput with a series of short, thin, brown setae; silver pruinescent band adjacent to posterior margin of eye extended to gena. Antenna yellow; pedicel with five dorsal, robust, brown setae; arista with ten dorsal and four ventral branches. Buccal pieces brown except palpus yellow basally and dark brown apically.

Scutum brown with a broad whitish yellow quadrangular stripe occupying the posterior half of scutum, as wide as scutellum; postpronotal lobe whitish yellow with dense silvery pruinescence; notopleuron and supra-alar area yellow, with dense pale yellow pruinescence; scutellum same color of the scutal stripe with lateral margin brown, with the apex elevated at an angle of about 30º; subscutellum brown; pleura yellow except by a brown spot on katepisternum. Setae: anterior dorsocentral postsutural seta about 2/3 of the posterior seta; anterior katepisternal seta 3/5 the length of the posterior seta; distal scutellar seta 3/4 the length of basal seta.
