Submargin not differentiated from the dorsal disc. Submarginal lines evident. Submargin with 8 pairs of small, capitate setae; of these, three pairs placed on cephalic region, one pair each laterad of pro-, meso- and metathorax, first abdominal segment and laterad of caudal furrow. Subdorsum with six pairs of tuberculate setae, one pair each on cephalus and mesothorax and four pairs on abdomen, basal elevation in each of these much longer than the apical seta, apex capitate. Of the four pairs on abdomen, one pair each laterad of abdominal segment III– IV, V and two pairs posterior to segment VIII. Submedian area with a few tubercles along the bases of tuberculate setae. Longitudinal moulting suture reaching subdorsal area and transverse moulting suture reaching submedian area. Median length of abdomen longer than cephalothorax, median length of abdomen from origin of first abdominal segment to base of segment VIII measured 474 µm long. Thoracic tracheal furrows absent.
