Il sétend habituellement jusquaux 2/3 environ du deuxième segment du pédoncule antennulaire chez les femelles et jusquà la base seulement de ce même segment chez les mâles. Le bord dorsal de la carapace porte six ou sept dents formant une crête, sans compter les trois petites dents terminales du rostre, situées les unes au-dessous des autres. Les quatre premières dents sont situées en arrière de lorbite, la cinquième est soit entièrement, soit partiellement seulement, en avant de lorbite. Les quatre dents situées en arrière de lorbite sont de taille très voisine, les trois suivantes de taille très légèrement décroissante. Trois dents sont en arrière de lépine hépatique.</paragraph>

Labdomen présente une forte dent, se terminant en épine dirigée vers lavant, sur le bord dorsal de son premier segment; aucune trace de dent ni aucun sillon transversal nexistent sur le bord dorsal du deuxième segment dont la carène est régulièrement arrondie. Les faces latérales de labdomen portent les sillons habituels qui sont ici assez fins et très nets, ainsi que les fines carènes longitudinales observées habituellement un peu au-dessus du niveau des condyles darticulation et les stries en relief sur la partie supérieure des segments; on nobserve pas, par contre, de gros tubercules sur les pleurons mais seulement lesquisse de petits tubercules et de granules. Les bords des pleurons sont dépourvus dépines, à lexception des deux derniers qui portent chacun une épine postéroventrale. Le bord postérieur du cinquième segment est fortement concave dans sa partie inférieure (
