Medium sized species. Head: Face ovoid, rather wide; forehead nearly smooth with very fine transverse riffles and with 4 rather large impressed dots; fastigium verticis distinctly wider than scapus, separated by a transverse suture from fastigium frontis; ocelli visible but not very obvious; with a pair of distinct curved furrows from below ventro-internal angle of antennal scrobae; subocular furrow present (

Tegmen with costal area strongly reduced to a short but distinctly projecting flap at base; for the remainder the anterior branch of the subcosta makes the fore margin of the tegmen; the posterior branch of Sc runs into the fore margin and fuses with ScA before apical third of tegmen; radius with one posterior branch, RS, both veins forking near tip. Without free media anterior, either absent or completely fused with R or Cu; media and cubitus anterior probably with common stem, dividing into two veins behind basal quarter with a curvature; the anterior branch divides again before mid-length of tegmen into M and CuA1 but both veins fuse again before tip; the posterior vein (CuA2) undivided to tip; cubitus posterior undivided, free throughout; with 4 anal veins.

General color blackish brown to black, face and pronotum with medium brown spots; tarsi yellow brown; apical half of ovipositor medium brown. Face reddish brown with black bands along midline of fastigium verticis, along suture between fastigium verticis and fastigium frontis, all of antennal scrobae and from angle of antennal scrobae curved to clypeo-frontal suture and along latter, along compound eyes and along subocular furrow. Tegmen white with blackish brown veins and veinlets; hind wing of about same color as fore wings.</paragraph>
