Epiphytic herbs, stem pendulous, 10-15 cm long, ca. 1.25 mm in diameter, slender, unbranched with tiny red-purple spots. Leaves alternate, distichous, ovate, 0.9-1.3

At present, the new species is only to be found in Malipo town, Yunnan, China. It was also recorded in Ha Giang province of North Vietnam according to Prof. L.V.
