, elle est localisée aux Alpes méridionales où elle est assez commune localement. Dans le reste de l’Europe, elle n’est connue que des Alpes italiennes et suisses.

de longueur, au corps assez court, convexe, presque arrondi en arrière et glabre. Pronotum noir avec une bordure latérale et antérieure de couleur rouge. Élytres noirs avec une large bordure latérale partant de l’épaule pour aller jusqu’à pratiquement l’apex.
