<paragraph id="8BA636924604FFCEFF0878DE2131F9A7" blockId="10.[88,1484,1317,2243]" pageId="10" pageNumber="675">The body is, on the whole, of even thickness and tapers almost imperceptibly in the oesophageal region and posteriorly up to the anus.</paragraph>
<paragraph id="8BA636924604FFCEFF0A7B7B2012F941" blockId="10.[88,1484,1317,2243]" pageId="10" pageNumber="675">The cuticle is thin and smooth. The head is rounded, a t the front end provided with sublaterally situated, fine bristles.</paragraph>
<paragraph id="8BA636924604FFCEFF0A7B81279BF8B8" blockId="10.[88,1484,1317,2243]" pageId="10" pageNumber="675">The buccal cavity is supported a t the front end b y eight ribs and armed with a v e r y large, transversely situated, irregularly shaped, dorsal tooth, the point o f which is directed forwards. Opposite to this tooth there is also a smaller, acute, ventral tooth.</paragraph>
<paragraph id="8BA636924604FFCEFF0A7A49210FF853" blockId="10.[88,1484,1317,2243]" pageId="10" pageNumber="675">Lateral organs were not discernible. The oesophagus is short, strongly contracted, thick, with a large, oval, strongly muscular bulb.</paragraph>
<paragraph id="8BA636924604FFCEFF0A7A9725CAF7DA" blockId="10.[88,1484,1317,2243]" pageId="10" pageNumber="675">The tail is elongated and tapers conically only in the foremost part and is very narrow for most o f its length, posteriorly rather gradually tapering, whip-like.</paragraph>
