Head (Fig. 1187) about 5.6X as wide as frontovertex, in profile about 1.8X as high as deep, anteriorly fairly evenly curved from occipital margin to top of scrobes, virtually straight from top of scrobes to mouth margin, interantennal prominence weakly protuberant between toruli; occipital margin sharp, weakly carinate; vertex with a short groove about midway between posterior ocellus and occipital margin; ocelli forming an angle of about 50°; frontovertex quite shiny, with shallow, fairly regular, fine, polygonally reticulate sculpture of mesh size generally a little smaller than diameter of facet, area above scrobes with coarser, more irregular, transversely elongate sculpture; narrowest point between eye and scrobe about 0.15X length of scape, with very shallow sculpture, almost completely smooth; temple with shallow, irregular, transversely elongate, sculpture, gena with similar, but slightly deeper, more longitudinally elongate sculpture; scrobes deep, very broadly ∩-shaped, meeting, dorsally very smooth and weakly margined, lateral margin carinate; interantennal prominence without median ridge, broadly rounded and largely with weak, regular, polygonally reticulate sculpture but completely smooth dorsally; antenna as in Fig. 1185; scape slightly broadened and flattened, broadest slightly below middle, about 3.9X as long as broad; F1 slightly longer than broad, F2 subquadrate, F3-F6 clearly transverse, segments larger and broader distad, linear sensilla present only on F4-F6; clava clearly broadened, slightly longer than funicle, sutures oblique, sensory area enlarged, extending ventrally about 0.8X length of clava, apex strongly obliquely truncate; eye slightly overreaching occipital margin, clothed in very inconspicuous short setae that are much shorter than diameter of facet; inner eye margins clearly diverging below anterior ocellus; malar sulcus absent; clypeal margin weakly convex medially; mandible with three teeth; apical segment of maxillary palpus not enlarged, hardly longer than radicle. <paragraph id="8BAC36B1FE0CFE7EFF39BF60A70EFB44" blockId="473.[181,1165,222,1393]" pageId="473" pageNumber="472">Thorax (Fig. 1190) with polygonally reticulate sculpture on pronotum, mesoscutum axilla and scutellum that is similar to that in ocellar area, but of slightly smaller mesh, sculpture on posterior part of mesoscutum a little shallower; pale parts of mesoscutum with fine, longitudinally oblique, striate-reticulate sculpture, darker parts with more regular, rounded, polygonally reticulate sculpture; axilla and scutellum with sculpture slightly deeper and coarser and of slightly larger mesh; visible part of mesoscutum about 2.3X as broad as long; scutellum about 1.2X as broad as long, with a distinct subapical tuft, setae about 0.3X as long as scutellum; mid tibia with an conspicuous external carina for about half its length; hind femur about 4.2X as long as broad; fore wing with venation and setation as in Figs 1186, 1188; costal cell naked dorsally at apex; apices of postmarginal and stigmal veins connected by a naked, hyaline streak; propodeum medially about 0.17X as long as scutellum and smooth.
