. This find confirms
<taxonomicName id="8228FFDF0289CDF02EE9B55309AFEA98" class="Magnoliopsida" family="Viscaceae" genus="Phoradendron" higherTaxonomySource="CoL" kingdom="Plantae" lsidName="Phoradendron" order="Santalales" pageId="8" pageNumber="99" phylum="Tracheophyta" rank="genus">Phoradendron</taxonomicName>
as host of the Brazilian species and makes the association of the North American species with this host more likely.
