The length of the postmarginal vein varies from nearly absent to approaching the length of the stigmal vein in a continuous gradient such that separation based on arbitrary lengths is not useful for species identification (see Figures

The degree to which longitudinal rugae extend from the basal costae of T1 is variable, ranging from essentially absent to distinctly present. Similarly, anterior T1 may be faintly striate or entirely smooth. Microsculpture on the mesoscutellum varies from present throughout to absent, and in some specimens the microsculpture is only present laterally. Specimens in the type series of
