In the Canal Zone no “Pirri Range” could be located; in Prov. Darién, however, there is a Rio Pirri and a Cerro Pirri. This could imply a more southern occurrence of this taxon, closer to the Colombian border. This taxon was not mentioned in

. It is characterized by the obese body whorl, very flat early whorls, the hardly impressed suture, the wide, oval aperture and the color pattern with alternating reddish-brown and yellowish zigzag streaks on the globose last whorl. Although it seems closely allied to
