We unite a group of species here that are characterized by moderately large shells with moderately slender to moderately broad to stout biconic shells and tripartite sculpture on early teleoconch whorls. Later teleoconch whorls with weak subsutural collar, deeply concave mid-portion and prominent, beaded suprasutural cord. The anal sinus is deep and moderately wide (

). Last whorl with marked shoulder, strongly constricted base and moderately long to long siphonal canal. All species have a relatively wide callus rim and have the tip of the siphonal canal unnotched. Coarse spiral sculpture is present, especially over the base and siphonal fasciole. The tripartite early teleoconch sculpture, the general shell shape and sculpture are highly reminiscent of the extant
