Body generally brown, with head and thorax slightly paler than abdomen (particularly after clearing for slide-mounting); legs mainly yellow but all femora weakly shaded with light brown; major setae brown; antennae mainly brown but III almost yellow; eyes with no pigmented facets; fore wing pale in basal fourth, then light brown but often again paler near apex.
