is a distinct species among the Japanese congeners and can be easily distinguished from all of them as follows: body large-sized, blackish in coloration including base of antennae; dorsal surface glossy, rather deeply punctured; inter coxal process of metaventrite large, broadly and weakly rounded apically; elytra without blackish maculations laterally; abdominal tergite and sternite VIII strongly transverse, with numerous macrosetae; median lobe of male aedeagus narrowly elongate, complex sclerites restricted to apical 1/3 of median lobe, and by; female spermatheca with reticulate basal portion of spermathecal stem.
