Teleoconch of up to 3.5 whorls, slightly convex in outline; last whorl comprising about 80% of total shell height. Suture deep, slightly channeled. Surface pale brownish; sculptured with low spiral cords: 10 to 19 on spire whorls and about 65 on the last whorl. Aperture large, ovate, interior white; columellar callus thickened anteriorly, slightly expanded over the umbilical area.</paragraph>
