Male. Slightly smaller than female.

Head not exerted above the pronotal surface, surface covered with granules. Vertex uneven with paired fossulae, a little contracted forward in dorsal view, 1.51.6 times as wide as one eye; anterior margin nearly straight, slightly protruding beyond or being at the level anterior margin of eye; median carina conspicuous in anterior half and blurred in occiput; lateral carina folded upward; in profile, vertex together with frontal costa rounded; frontal costa nearly straight between lateral ocelli and arcuate between antennae, longitudinal furrow between antennae as wide as first segment of antennae. Antennae filiform, 15 segmented, middle segments 6.66.7 times as long as wide, situated between lower margins of eyes. Eyes globose. Lateral ocelli placed at middle of inner margins of eyes.
<emphasis id="B96874095A4814184F65F8181C53F847" bold="true" box="[779,875,1932,1958]" pageId="6" pageNumber="568">Thorax.</emphasis>
Pronotum broad and short, roof-like, disc covered with granules; midkeel entire, upper margin slightly elevated with swollen base before shoulder and straight behind shoulder in profile; anterior margin nearly straight; hind process reaching half of hind femur, apex acutely rounded or triangularly protruding; humeral angle obtusely angled; prozonal carinae slightly contracted backward; abbreviated carinae between shoulders expanded outwards; external lateral carina almost reaching 4/5 of lower margin of pronotum; lateral lobe of pronotum with posterior angle turning outwards, apex truncated, posterior margins with one concavity. Tegmina and alae extremely degenerated, both hidden beneath pronotum and externally invisible. The fore femur with upper lower edges nearly straight, 4.1 times as long as wide; mid femora with upper and lower edges nearly straight, 3.84.0 times as long as wide; hind femur 3.23.3 times as long as wide, antegenicular and genicular denticles acute, dorsal part of hind tibia with 7 outer and 5 inner teeth, first tarsal segment of hind legs 1.6 times as long as third one, three pulvilli larger in turn and with apexes obtuse.

Epiproct narrowly triangular. Cerci with attenuated apex. Subgenital plate short cone-shaped, apex bifurcate.

General coloration of body brown. Hind femora with lower outside completely black. Hind tibiae light black with light rings in the middle and apex.
