): Antenna slim, giving the impression of being elongate, reaching base of elytra when laid back; last segment lighter in color. Last segment of the palp about half the length of the previous segment. Aedeagus elongate, apical orifice dorsally subterminal and cutting the apex of the aedeagus slightly left from the median axis; the dorsal opening being somewhat oval in shape; flagellum somewhat elongate, from 0.5 to 0.8 times as long as the aedeagus. Genital segment globular, spiculum gastrale straight and short. In several of the species studied, the male mesotibia is bent medially (in which case, the female mesotibia is generally curved), and in some cases it is not bent but rather curved (and the female tibia is either straight or curved). Male ventrites bear no projections. In most species, the spermatheca has 5 (or 4) turns, the first three (or two) following the longitudinal axis and the other two following a transverse axis, which are followed by a long curve, ending in a kind of bulb.
