||
The new species has the following diagnostic characters: 1) the exopod of leg 4 is 3-segmented, with armatures of I-0, I-0, III; 2) the maxillule of female bears two tines on posterior process; 3) the caudal ramus is distinctly longer than wide; 4) the male maxilliped lacks any process on the medial margin of the first segment; and 5) leg 5 of female is plate-like, extending over the posterior margin of the genital complex. The above features are shared by four congeners:
