Head deformed, quadrate; eyes protruded, distinctly dark; antennae not preserved. Prothorax wider than long, quadrate; mesothorax bulging; metathorax short, with full-developed sclerites. Abdomen 10 segmented; first segment reduced, caudal segment approximately pyriform, resembling the ectoproct of extant osmylids.

Venation: costal cross-veins simple, dense close to the apex, with few distal forks; Sc and R1 fused distal; cross-veins r1-rs six branches; Rs originate from R1; Rs with 13 branches, each branch sinuous in the middle, and forming complicate distal forks; cross-veins between Rs branches arranged regularly, forming three rows of gradate series; MP forked close to the separation of MA from Rs, only four cross-veins present between both branches; Cu forked at the wing base, both branches approximately with equal length; CuA with four distal branches, CuP with three distal branches; A1 with four distal branches, its length beyond half of CuP; A2 with two simple branches; A3 simple.
