. The larvae were collected in the Fazzari stream, a first-order stream surrounded by a well-preserved riparian forest. The water has a high level of dissolved oxygen and low conductivity. The species was also collected in the Canchin reservoir, a small dam characterized by a predominance of aquatic macrophytes.
