Fulton did not state on how many specimens his description was based. The specimen found agrees with
<normalizedToken originalValue="Fultons">Fulton's</normalizedToken>
measurements and is now designated lectotype (

). The sculpture of the protoconch is not with axial wrinkles as usual in
