This species is very broadly distributed across the eastern Nearctic region (DeWalt et al. 2012a), but in
<collectingRegion box="[1009,1121,224,248]" country="United States of America" name="Michigan" pageId="7" pageNumber="169">Michigan</collectingRegion>
is known from only three localites in the Upper Peninsula. Several additional populations across the state are anticipated from forested upland streams.
