Pore surface snow white when fresh, becoming cream to buff upon drying, somewhat glancing; sterile margin indistinct, thinning out, up to 0.3 mm wide; pores round to angular, 5-6 per mm; dissepiments thin, entire. Subiculum white, fibrous to soft corky when dry, up to 0.3 mm thick. Tubes concolorous with the pore surface, hard corky to brittle when dry, up to 2 mm long.</paragraph>
