Narrow, elongated, bluntly ovoid, posterior pole sub­acute; anterior pole truncated; polar profile circular (Fig. 354); wedge shape in profile; anterior pole slightly angled to horizontal axis.

: Egg marked on all surfaces by slightly convex hexagonal cells (Figs 354 &amp; 355). Cell walls narrow, slightly elevated (Fig. 355); micropylar cell walls narrow, slightly elevated, primary, secondary, tertiary cells recessed (Fig. 353). Aeropyles unelevated, inconspicuous, openings very small (Fig. 355), present on all surfaces apart from middle of top of egg, anterior pole. Chorion rough, wrinkled (Fig. 355).
