. Head and pronotum brownish black; elytra brownish black, with conspicuous yellowish to pale reddish transverse band in basal third, narrowly interrupted on suture; legs and antennae dark brown to brownish-black, antennomeres more or less paler basally.

<paragraph id="8B863690FFDF481E88AAFEAF05C5FD8F" blockId="46.[151,1437,258,1831]" pageId="46" pageNumber="47">Head 1.2 times as long as wide, its base moderately produced medially, differentiated from short neck; tempora strongly narrowing posteriad, posterior angles absent. Eyes medium-sized, rather convex. Dorsal surface glossy, distinctly punctate, slightly corrugate anteriorly; punctures distinctly separated. Setation short, subdecumbent; few tactile setae. Antennae slightly enlarged and somewhat flattened in terminal third; antennomere X 1.6 times, XI 2.1 times as long as wide.</paragraph>
<paragraph id="8B863690FFDF481E88AAFDE20663FC8B" blockId="46.[151,1437,258,1831]" pageId="46" pageNumber="47">Pronotum 1.5 times as long as wide, distinctly narrower than head including eyes, nearly evenly rounded anteriorly, strongly narrowed and impressed (constricted) postero-laterally in dorsal view; pronotal disc convex, flattened to slightly impressed, uneven posteriorly in lateral view. Surface largely glossy; antero-lateral sides minutely and sparsely punctate, nearly impunctate near procoxal cavities; disc more distinctly and densely punctate, distinctly longitudinally corrugated dorso-laterally in posterior half, with some transverse wrinkles before smooth antebasal area; postero-lateral impressions distinctly, longitudinally wrinkled, adjacent dorso-lateral surface rugose. Setation as on head.</paragraph>
<paragraph id="8B863690FFDF481E88AAFCDE0078FCC3" blockId="46.[151,1437,258,1831]" pageId="46" pageNumber="47">Mesosternum with distinct, rounded median longitudinal bulge, slightly convex in lateral view. Metasternum posteriorly with pair of short, longitudinal, apically setose, submedian projections.</paragraph>
<paragraph id="8B863690FFDF481E88AAFCA70006FC5E" blockId="46.[151,1437,258,1831]" pageId="46" pageNumber="47">Elytra 1.6 times as long as wide, conjointly rounded apically; humeri distinct; postscutellar impression at most slightly indicated. Surface glossy, distinctly punctate; punctures widely separated. Setation nearly evenly developed, sparser near base, generally longer than on head; some short tactile setae.</paragraph>

); profemora with disctinct tooth-like process, bluntly pointed apically; protibiae moderately swollen, with distinct, apically rounded protrusion on inner side in distal half; penultimate tarsomere widened/flattened distally, with terminal tarsomere articulated dorsally near base for all tarsi. Setation normally developed; tibiae with two equal terminal spurs.
