Shell thin-walled and slightly convex. Outline elongate-oval to egg-shaped. Ornamentation consisting of fine growth lines and unevenly radiating rows of minute papillae, becoming dominantly divaricated with transverse or diamond-shaped papillae in lateral parts of shell. Valve floor possibly with scattered pitting.
