This material is based on a single field collected ovum collected at Sanje, Udzungwa Mountains,

, from which a female of f.

was reared. The pale, smooth, dome-shaped ovum (Figure 47.12) is typical of many
<taxonomicName id="4C034D26FFF63531FF79FF642722DFB2" box="[151,289,188,213]" class="Insecta" family="Hesperiidae" kingdom="Animalia" order="Lepidoptera" pageId="48" pageNumber="349" phylum="Arthropoda" rank="subFamily" subFamily="Hesperiinae">Hesperiinae</taxonomicName>
. The caterpillar reared (Figure 47.34) is a close match to that illustrated from Ruo Gorge,
