The material is scanty (one basidiome glued to a piece of cardboard) with the endoperidial mouth zone destroyed and with indistinct micro-morphological characters. Nevertheless it should be considered a holotype, but since its characteristics are ambiguous, an epitype is here chosen from recently collected and sequenced material originating from southernmost Sweden.
