<paragraph id="1F76913571D329A6D55F6B4CCE700456" pageNumber="213">Niapu, [[worker]]; Bafwasende, [[worker]]; Garamba, [[worker]], [[male]]; Akenge, [[worker]]; Medje, [[worker]] (Lang and Chapin). The specimens from Akenge and Medje were taken from the stomachs of toads (Bufo funereus and polycercus) and two males from Garamba from the stomach of a Bufo regularis. The Niapu specimens were found running about on the ground in the clearing of a native village.</paragraph>

<paragraph id="C1EAC44E2C0F6EC0D3656D463BD86917" pageNumber="213">The female of this species was mentioned by Forel from specimens found in the stomach of a pangolin (Manis temmincki) from the Lower Congo, but was not described. The hitherto undescribed male measures about 5 mm. The wings are long (6 mm.). The head is only about half as broad as the thorax, broader through the eyes than long, with small, acutely 5-toothed mandibles. Color, sculpture and pilosity as in the worker, but the head is dark brown behind and the thorax is more shining, with three obscure, brownish, longitudinal blotches on the mesonotum.</paragraph>
