species-group owing to the long and strongly elevated vertex (distance from top of head to upper margin of lateral ocellus 2.53.0 lateral ocellar diameters as seen in dorsal view, versus those with a short vertex where this distance is at most 2 diameters), the female propodeum laterally strigate or rarely reticulate-rugose, and the coarsely punctured body. The female is quite similar
