This medium sized Palaearctic species is characterized by a short-subtriangular antennal postpedicel, uniformly short male ommatrichia, white to pale yellow setae on the lower part of the head, 2 notopleural bristles, pale legs, hyaline wing, and left ventral epandrial process of the male hypopygium bifurcate with slender hook-shaped dorsal arm and sclerotized flattened serratulate apex on ventral arm.
