The new species differs from other examined congeners by its uniform dark-brown coloration of body and wings. It is closest to

All lines marked in costal area as blackbrown streaks; basal line distinct in costal area, antemedial line waved; medial line broken in separated spots; postmedial line waved, broken; submarginal line with wide brownish-grey border on inner side; subterminal field with waved rufous-brown band; orbicular spot dark-brown; reniform spot brown with dark-brown border; terminal field grey-brown; terminal line as row of short dark transversal streaks separated by paler dots; cilia brown, waved.
