Stalk short, cup-like apically covering about a quarter of body. Clavate tentacles not arranged in fascicles, evenly distributed over apical body surface and each one beginning from small projections of the cortex. Macronucleus spherical, centrally located. Reproduction has not been observed.</paragraph>
