, C–E). Body length 7.4 mm, maximum width 4.8. Body strongly convex, shiny. Color of head, pronotum and elytra uniformly blackish brown; legs, antennae, and underside of the body slightly paler.

Genae small, not protruding past eyes in dorsal view. Eyes small, similar in size to other members of the genus, about 1/15 width of head. Frontoclypeus with small carinae mediad of each eye.</paragraph>

Anterior margin with wide, smooth border, not sinuate medially. Posterior margin with fine border, not crenulate, punctate with sparse indistinct punctures.</paragraph>
