). The present distribution is in two regions. One region falls within the Namaqualand Hardeveld Bioregion in the Succulent Karoo where the habitat is dry, typified by winter rains and vegetated by mostly dwarf succulent shrubs. The other region is located to the east of first one in the Bushmanland Bioregion in the Nama Karoo Biome where the habitat is also dry, receives predominantly summer rains and is dominated by grasses of the Bushmanland Arid Grassland
