Howden and Gill (1987) reported that a “variety of subspecies” occurs in

: “this form has the sides of the horn of the male with parallel sides and the pronotal tumosity with only lateral lobes; also the dorsal surfaces which are finely punctate in

was not verified. Our record confirms the presence of
