Male (Fig. 69). Entirely dark ferruginous with blackish undefined shadings on elytra; antennae and legs yellowish; covered with dense, long, recumbent and erect, yellow-golden vestiture.

<paragraph id="8B9836C3E80EFFC30DB337AEB1CBFAB0" blockId="33.[151,1436,1086,1867]" pageId="33" pageNumber="484">Frons convex between eyes, flat at anterior margin, latter moderately thickened and regularly curved; puncturation double, very larger punctures irregularly mixed with much smaller ones, intervals very short and shiny.</paragraph>
<paragraph id="8B9836C3E80EFFC30DB33602B491FA5C" blockId="33.[151,1436,1086,1867]" pageId="33" pageNumber="484">Antennae slightly exceeding posterior angles of pronotum, slightly serrated from fourth antennomere on; second subcylindrical, third subconical, subequal in length, taken together as long as fourth; fourth to tenth subtriangular, on average 2× longer than wide, last as long as penultimate, subellipsoidal, pointed at apical third.</paragraph>
<paragraph id="8B9836C3E80EFFC30DB33696B00AF9AC" blockId="33.[151,1436,1086,1867]" pageId="33" pageNumber="484">Pronotum as long as wide, widest at middle, convex, sides regularly curved, slightly sinuate before posterior angles, these truncate, not divergent, shortly carinate; puncturation uniformly distributed; punctures of different sizes, very large and scattered punctures irregularly mixed with very smaller ones (57 smaller punctures falling to one larger).</paragraph>
<paragraph id="8B9836C3E80EFFC30DB33507B44AF990" blockId="33.[151,1436,1086,1867]" box="[199,1368,1626,1651]" pageId="33" pageNumber="484">Scutellum heart-shaped, as long as wide, deeply emarginate at middle of base, flat or slightly impressed.</paragraph>
<paragraph id="8B9836C3E80EFFC30DB33523B5E3F959" blockId="33.[151,1436,1086,1867]" pageId="33" pageNumber="484">Elytra 2.4× longer than and as wide as pronotum, convex; sides subparallel in first half, then gradually narrowing to apices; striae distinctly and deeply punctured; interstriae flat with very fine punctures.</paragraph>
