Antenna yellow to light brown; frons and hind side of head black medially, occipital area black; face yellow, except one female from Phu Tho Province with black spot medially in upper half; pronotum with black transverse band medially; mesoscutum with a stripe on median lobe, two long stripes on lateral lobes and a spot in front of scutellum black; mesopleuron with black transverse stripe below subalar prominence, metapleuron yellow; propodeum with basal and apical black marks; legs with subbasal and apical bands of tibia and apical band of basitarsus black; wing hyaline, pterostigma and veins light brown, except coxa yellow; first tergite with anchor-like black mark extending from base to apical transverse grooves or sometimes only median black mark present apically, tergites 2–5 with m-shaped black marks basally; tergites 6–7 with broadly triangular black marks; ovipositor reddish brown.

Similar to female except flagellum with 22–24 flagellomeres, first flagellomere 1.5x second; hind basitarsus 2.0x second tarsomere; fifth tarsomere 1.5x third; first tergite 1.2–1.4x as long as apical width; two specimens from Vinh Phuc Provinces have black transverse band on pronotum, other specimens have only black mark on mesopleuron dorsally; basal 0.5 of tergites 2–5 black; black marks on tergites 6–7 broader.</paragraph>

. They differ from each other by the length of the submetapleural carina and by the black pattern on the mesopleuron and metapleuron. Except for one female specimen from Phu Tho Province, all other Vietnamese specimens lack the central black spot on the mesopleuron and their metapleura are entirely yellow, resembling the nominate subspecies, but the submetapleural carinae are shorter (present on anterior 0.35), resembling subspecies from
