Frons with a brown median stripe through an otherwise broad dark yellow area. Arista black, pubescent. Fore tarsus blackish brown. Wing with a pale brown apical spot on R2+3, and a weak brown spot on each of crossveins r-m and dm-cu. Abdomen yellow, tergites 15 each with a pair of black quadrate lateral spots; male tergite 6 (female 67) with a pair of brown spots on posterior margin.

) yellow. Frons with a brown median stripe through an otherwise broad dark yellow area, extending to ocellar triangle, and black short setulae on anterior 2/3, nearly 1.8 times longer than wide and parallelsided; ocellar triangle grayish black; anterior fronto-orbital setae reclinate, shorter than the posterior. Facial keel distinct on upper part between antennal bases, a pair of indistinct brown triangular spots under the base of each antenna; gena about 1/3 height of eye, with wide brown stripe. Antenna yellowish brown, 1st flagellomere rounded apically, nearly 1.2 times longer than high; arista black, pubescent. Orbito-antennal spot distinct, present as a large pale brown triangular spot between eye and antenna. Proboscis mostly yellow except pale brown tip, with yellow and blackish setulae; palpus yellow with black setulae.

) dark brown with sparse grayish white pruinosity. Mesonotum with narrow yellow dorsocentral vittae and narrow median vitta, all of which extend through otherwise brown scutellum, with median stripe through scutellum wider than that on mesonotum; 0+3 dorsocentral setae, acrostichal setulae in 4 rows; prescutellar acrostichal seta hair-like, shorter than 1st postsutural dorsocentral seta; anepisternum and katepisternum brown, with yellow through upper 2/3 of anepisternum and at suture between the two sclerites; 1 anepisternal seta, 1 katepisternal seta. in having a yellow palpus, a dark fore tarsus, the wing not being intensely brown along the costal margin, and having a weak brown spot on each of crossveins r-m and dm-cu, but it can be separated from the latter by the abdominal tergites 15 each having a pair of black quadrate lateral spots, and male tergite 6 (female 67) having a pair of brown spots on the posterior margin.
