Valves lanceolate-clavate, tapered broadly to the headpole, narrowly to the footpole. Headpole rounded, footpole distinctly rounded. Length 4566, breadth

. Axial area narrow, broadening to form an irregularly elliptical central area with 46 isolated stigmoids. Raphe lateral, more or less straight with dilated external proximal raphe ends. Internal distal raphe ends distinct. Striae radiate about the center, parallel towards the ends, 1922/
