New to Spanish waters. The figured specimens conform quite exactly with the original description of this species, from a depth of

in the northern Atlantic, including the shagreened microsculpture in the subsutural ramp and the umbilicus, bound by a narrow cord and also with a single cord inside. Another of our specimens has two cords inside the umbilicus.
