Relatively small robust species; wings falcate, markings variable, hyaline to strongly patterned, contrasted dark areas with pale fenestrate areas; FW costal area relatively narrow, subcostal veinlets mostly simple, rarely forked; numerous branches of RP (1012), outer gradate series present, extending from MA to pterostigma in both wings; FW M fork level with origin of RP2; HW intramedial area expanded, but less than in other genera, cells between them quadrate and crossveins not sinuous; female genitalia with spermatheca constricted, hour-glass shaped.
