Body size approximate 125 × 25 μm in protargol preparations; body shape broadly ellipsoidal, anterior body end curved leftward, flattened dorsoventrally; flexible. 1 macronuclear nodule at centre of body. Cytoplasm colourless. Movement, without any peculiarities, sliding on soil surface. Conspicuous longitudinal gap between postoral ciliary rows.
