Body ovoid in shape. Clypeus with anterior margin weakly concave, having a complete marginal bead. Eyes finely facetted. Antenna with club of 3 antennomeres; antennomere XI transversely oval, wider than long. Mouthparts having lacinia armed with pair of hook-like teeth at apex; maxillary terminal palpomere triangularly widened, not more than 2 times wider than long; mentum elongately pentagonal. Prosternal lines long, connecting anteriorly, forming a more or less raised triangular plate. Elytra lacking basal marginal bead. Tibiae not triangularly dilated.
